The book describes the secret activities of 24 journalists and some important external collaborators (confidants of Udba). It is divided into two chapters (The Capitalists and The Small Fish).

Despite its bulky size, the advantage of the book is that you can read it in the middle, front or back, as it is divided into 24 larger or smaller independent “pieces”. All you need to know is that there was an “ugly” secret police that, with the help of “bad” boys and girls, stalked “good” boys and girls!
The index, archival sources, sources of facsimile documents and photographs for both books are located at the end of the third book of the trilogy, entitled “The Bright Side of Work”. Therefore, the two books have a uniform pagination, meaning that the third book continues the numbering from the second book. Both books total 1000 pages, with the first being more extensive in terms of content than the third, well, the latter is somewhat thicker due to the shared Index and other “non-content” information.
This is the most extensive and complex anatomy of the functioning (along with socialism) of the failed secret political police (the Udba nationalist) to date! You will not find anything like this in the former Yugoslavia, nor in Europe, nor on the entire blue planet.
